About this role
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Midwife for our Hudson Valley Medical Group. Midwives are a cornerstone for women through all phases of their lives, providing a supportive, compassionate environment for all phases of ante- through postpartum care.
Our midwives provide prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care for women, including underserved populations. You will act as a vital resource for women and families throughout their entire lifespan, practicing full scope care as an independent provider while collaborating with physicians to meet the needs of more high-risk patients.
Whether seeing patients in the office or taking call on Labor and Delivery, you will foster a culture of empathy, collaborative decision making, and empowerment for women. This role requires a 12-hour shift minimum per week, with hours and days varying including weekends and holidays.
