Sensible Care is a leading comprehensive behavioral telehealth company infusing humanity back into the mental health journey. Due to exceptional clinical success and patient demand, we are growing and now hiring LMFT, LPC, and LCSW providers to provide remote care throughout Virginia.
In this role, you will conduct telehealth therapy sessions with children, adolescents, and adults, with a required focus on child and adolescent therapy. You will treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, and trauma, empowering clients through education and resources while delivering culturally sensitive care.
We offer flexible 24-40 hour work week options to help prevent provider burnout, with afternoon and evening availability required. You will work within a collaborative team approach, supported by weekly group consultations with fellow providers and insurance claims entirely handled by our staff.
Sensible Care invests in your growth with an in-house CEU program offering 42+ hours of virtual and in-person classes every year, plus support in continuing education to earn desired certificates. Requirements
- Active Virginia professional license as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW
- Experience with child and adolescent therapy
- Experience personally conducting treatment in an outpatient setting
- Technologically savvy with computers, Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), telehealth, and Google apps
- Comfortable treating depression, anxiety, and trauma
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Timely, diligent, and able to work well in a team
- Active professional liability insurance (preferred) and valid NPI number
Responsibilities
- Provide remote/telehealth mental health therapy to children, adolescents, and adults across Virginia
- Conduct treatment in an outpatient setting using a warm, personable, and culturally sensitive approach
- Treat clients presenting with depression, anxiety, and trauma
- Empower clients through education and resources
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), telehealth platforms, and Google apps for documentation and care delivery
- Participate in weekly group consultations with fellow providers
- Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver high-quality mental healthcare
