As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will perform a broad range of duties including comprehensive primary care for women from menarche through menopause. You will plan and manage prenatal, postpartum, well woman gynecologic, family planning, and pre-conceptual care.
You will manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, including normal spontaneous deliveries. Consultation, collaboration, and referral with Obstetricians-Gynecologists are integral to the role, along with prescribing medications as required.

Requirements
- Must possess a Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Be a graduate from a certified nurse midwife education program accredited by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM).
- Must possess certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
- Must hold a full, current, valid, unrestricted license in a State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- Must possess current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Must possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of duties as a Certified Nurse Midwife in accordance with commercial best practices and federal guidance.
- Provide comprehensive primary care to women from menarche through menopause, including prenatal, postpartum, well woman gynecologic, family planning, and pre-conceptual care.
- Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, including normal spontaneous deliveries.
- Consult, collaborate, and refer with Obstetricians-Gynecologists as needed.
- Take health histories, perform obstetrical physical evaluations, and collect, document, and evaluate patient data.
- Assess patient needs, formulate and implement a plan of care consistent with established guidelines.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with MTF privileges.
- Maintain all required patient records and report pertinent information.
