Bayview Physicians Group, a progressive independent multi-specialty group serving the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join its Obstetrics & Gynecology team in Suffolk, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate midwives committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
In this full-time role, you will manage labor and deliveries while providing full-scope midwifery practice including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care. You will order, interpret, and follow up on labs, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic tests as part of your daily responsibilities.
You will be part of a collaborative care team that values communication, clinical excellence, and continuity of care, working alongside a team of experienced OB/GYNs. The practice uses a modern EMR platform with eClinicalWorks for outpatient care and Epic for inpatient care, shared across Bayview specialties.

Requirements
- Certification as a Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Licensed to practice in the state of Virginia or ability to obtain licensure
- Commitment to providing exceptional, patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
- Experience with full-scope midwifery including intrapartum care
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope midwifery practice including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care
- Manage labor and deliveries in a hospital setting
- Provide patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with a team of experienced OB/GYNs to ensure continuity of care
- Utilize modern EMR platforms: eClinicalWorks for outpatient and Epic for inpatient documentation
