About this role
The Inpatient Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) at NorthBay Health provides comprehensive, evidence-based, patient-centered obstetric and gynecologic care within the inpatient setting. This role encompasses labor management, childbirth, postpartum care, and obstetric triage evaluation, along with emergency stabilization.
The CNM independently manages low-risk women during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods. Daily duties include evaluating labor progress, managing induction and augmentation, interpreting fetal heart rate tracings, and performing deliveries.
