In this role, you will provide primary reproductive health care for women, limited reproductive services for men, and limited primary care for patients of all ages. Your week blends on-site clinical work in Raleigh with remote telehealth shifts, supporting access to essential family planning and abortion care.

Requirements

  • License or certification for Advanced Practice Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Certified Nurse Midwife with experience in reproductive health care.
  • CPR certification which must be maintained throughout employment.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant medical experience, preferably in family planning or gynecology.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques and apply them in the pursuit of quality patient care.
  • Passion for reproductive health care and justice.
  • Experience working across a diverse service area.
  • Commitment to providing non-judgmental care to transgender and gender-diverse patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary reproductive health care for women, limited reproductive services for men, and limited primary care for men and women of all ages.
  • Function in an expanded role in the area of ambulatory reproductive health care.
  • Deliver direct patient care in family planning and clinical abortion care.
  • Provide non-judgmental care to transgender and gender-diverse patients.
  • Help community members access the health care and information they need to live healthy, productive lives.
  • Meet or exceed goals for clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and work culture per the balanced scorecard.
  • Remain at the health center until all patients are checked out, documentation is completed, and the center is cleaned.
