Cabrini HEALTH

Malvern, AU · Part-time · A$70,000 – A$85,000

About this role

Applications are now open for Cabrini Health’s 2027 intake for the Registered Midwife Graduate Program. These ongoing positions provide a structured 12-month pathway for new midwives to begin their careers in maternity care.

Graduate midwives work directly with mothers and newborns during their first days together. The model of care delivers one-on-one support from clinical midwifery educators while building foundational skills in birth suites, special care nursery, postnatal and antenatal wards.

Graduates are paired with preceptors and receive generous supernumerary time to safely transition knowledge into practice. Regular check-ins with midwife managers and educators ensure continuous guidance throughout the program.

Cabrini offers an optional 15-month Double Degree pathway that begins with a medical or surgical rotation before joining the core midwifery program. Ongoing contracts provide stability and access to further professional development beyond the graduate year.
