About this role
Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai seeks a Registered Midwife to join its maternity care team. The role focuses on delivering patient-centric, evidence-based midwifery care in full compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
Daily responsibilities include providing quality care to antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum women as well as neonates, working alongside a multi-professional team. You will also ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing, and managing risks according to clinical policies and legislation.
As part of the Mediclinic Middle East Family, you will contribute to a learning environment that builds competence by actively supervising, mentoring, and coaching learners and nursing staff. Accurate record-keeping and efficient use of stock and equipment are also key to the role.

Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor's degree
- At least two years of midwifery experience in own country
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Suite)
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Patient safety standards knowledge
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality care to antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum women and neonates in collaboration with the multi-professional team according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation
- Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing, and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies, procedures and relevant legislation
- Facilitate positive patient and family experiences by creating a conducive environment guided by nursing leadership
- Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions according to company standard and legal requirements
- Create and contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence by actively supervising, mentoring and coaching learners and nursing employees
- Utilise all required stock and equipment efficiently according to Mediclinic guidelines
