About this role

As a Dual Registered Nurse/Midwife, you will be an integral part of our Maternity and Women’s Health Team.

You will be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. You’ll deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Dual qualification as a Registered Nurse and Midwife with current AHPRA registration.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide holistic, person-centred care.
  • Strong clinical skills in maternity and women’s health.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Commitment to applying best clinical practice and patient safety.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice.
  • Deliver exceptional person-centred care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide comprehensive maternity care including antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum support.
  • Assist with obstetric and gynaecology procedures alongside medical staff.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing, ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postnatal recovery.
