About this role
Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Registered Midwife to provide and coordinate patient-centric, evidence-based midwifery care. This role ensures full compliance with ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company.
In this position, you will deliver quality care to antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum women and neonates, collaborating closely with the multi-professional team. You will also ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing, and managing risks in accordance with clinical risk policies and relevant legislation.
You will facilitate positive patient and family experiences by creating a conducive environment guided by nursing leadership. Additionally, you will provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions according to company standards and legal requirements.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence through active supervision, mentoring, and coaching of learners and nursing employees. You will also utilise all required stock and equipment efficiently according to Mediclinic guidelines.
Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor's degree
- At least two years of midwifery experience in own country
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Suite)
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Patient safety standards knowledge
