About this role
Are you a compassionate, caring and considerate person looking for a sense of achievement? Our community teams at Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull Hospital seek motivated individuals who enjoy helping others. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Midwife to join the team.
The community team provides high quality midwifery care to a diverse group of women and families. Teams work in a named midwife model across GP practices, Children's centres and at home. The service is led by the Community Matron with Team Leader, Community Midwives, Maternity Support Workers and Community Administrators.
Midwives work varied shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and an on call rota to support home labour and the Birth Centre. Appointed applicants receive well-supported personalised orientation. The team is united in delivering quality care to Birmingham and Solihull communities.
