As one of the largest fertility service providers in Europe, we operate IVF clinics and egg/sperm freezing banks in the UK and Poland, using technology to provide patients with a memorable best-in-class fertility journey.
In this role, you will be one of a group of specialist nurses working within the fertility clinic, planning and coordinating treatment cycles such as IVF, ICSI, Ovulation Induction, Egg Donation, and Surgical Sperm Retrieval. You will assist in the management and support of sub-fertile couples before, during, and after treatment cycles, developing a therapeutic environment to meet individual needs.
Based at Boston Place in central London, adjacent to Marylebone Station, you will work in contemporary surroundings with a team that performs approximately 300 fresh cycles and 200 frozen cycles per year. The clinic holds a 5/5 inspection rating from the HFEA and specialises in PGT, offering a full suite of treatment and diagnostic services.

Requirements
- Registered Nurse or Midwife with current NMC registration.
- Demonstrated clinical competence in assisted reproductive technology (ART) skills.
- Experience in patient consultations and implications counselling for fertility treatment.
- Ability to manage and support sub-fertile couples through treatment cycles.
- Excellent communication skills for breaking bad news and supporting patients in highly stressful situations.
- Knowledge of HFEA consent forms and regulations regarding gamete storage and research.
- Ability to work weekends on a rotation of 1:4.
- Commitment to maintaining accurate patient records in line with NMC regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop a satisfactory level of clinical competence in ART skills, including planning and coordinating treatment cycles and undertaking specific investigations such as endocrine profiles.
- Assist in the management and support of sub-fertile couples before, during, and after treatment cycles, developing a therapeutic environment to meet individual needs.
- Undertake patient consultations before, during, and post treatment cycles.
- Ensure informed consent is given and complete appropriate unit and HFEA consent forms for treatment cycles, discussing risks associated with ART and potential usage of gametes for research.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, providing information and implications counselling to enable couples to make informed choices regarding their treatment.
- Support patients and families in highly stressful situations, such as breaking bad news, diagnosis of ectopic or miscarriage, managing bereavement and anger management, both face to face and over the telephone.
- Explain and complete consent forms for the storage of frozen gametes and the posthumous use thereof, including implications of disposal of property in the event of separation or divorce.
- Keep accurate records for each patient of all communication and clinical activity relevant to their treatment, in line with NMC regulations.
