About this role
Seven Starling is seeking a licensed mental health therapist to provide online individual therapy to women across a range of life stages, including perinatal, early parenting, perimenopause, and menopause. This role is ideal for a clinician passionate about serving women's mental health and opening up access to care for an underserved population.
In this fully remote position, you will lead individual therapy sessions via telehealth, working within a flexible schedule that you set. You will also participate in supervision or consultation to enhance your clinical skills and receive support as needed, all while using virtual platforms and electronic medical records.
You will join an early-stage team building the future of maternal mental healthcare, working in a dynamic, supportive environment. The role offers dedicated support from Operations, HR, and IT professionals, along with opportunities for cross-licensure sponsorship and professional development.
This contract role has no minimum hour requirement and offers transparent scheduling, including evening and weekend availability. You will also receive professional liability insurance and continuing education support for those who qualify.
Requirements
- Must reside and be fully licensed in the state of South Carolina (SC)
- Currently, we can only accept independently licensed mental health therapists who hold an active license as a professional counselor, clinical social worker, marriage & family therapist, mental health counselor, or psychologist
- Preference given to candidates who hold multi-state licenses that include at least two of the following: AZ, DC, CA, KY, MD, NC, NV, NJ, OH, TN, TX, and/or VA
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in women’s mental health with a focus on maternal mental health and/or perimenopause
- Experience working in a telehealth setting and considered tech savvy
- A desire to improve mental health outcomes and support an underserved population while opening up access to care
- Comfortable learning new systems and have experience with electronic medical records
- Bilingual is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead individual therapy sessions in a telehealth setting

- Utilize evidence-based models of care in clinical practice
- Maintain proficiency with virtual platforms, electronic medical records, and Google Suite
