Requirements

  • Experience providing infant mental health services to families.
  • Ability to supervise clinical staff and manage caseloads effectively.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and DCH documentation requirements.
  • Skill in conducting case reviews and staff meetings focused on outcomes.
  • Familiarity with community referral processes and accurate record keeping.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and legislative awareness in mental health.

Responsibilities

  • Engages individuals and families in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of stage of readiness and phase of treatment.
  • Assigns and supervises the caseload of direct reports staff and supports efficient caseload management.
  • Reviews cases to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services rendered.
  • Conducts staff meetings to review strengths, outcomes, problem areas and plan solutions.
  • Assists staff in improving professional skills through conferences, seminars, new techniques, and legislative updates.
  • Orients, trains, and develops new staff members.
  • Monitors case records including signatures and referrals to community agencies.
  • Ensures paperwork meets Medicaid, DCH, and Easterseals guidelines, policies, and procedures.
