Exciting opportunity for an experienced Sonographer to join our specialist team at Womens Imaging Hobart on a Part-Time or Full-Time basis. This role suits those seeking a dynamic environment focused on specialising in Breast, Obstetrics and/or Gynaecology procedures. Our clinics deliver high-quality imaging trusted by the community.

Sonographers perform imaging with up-to-date equipment in a modern clinical setting. Responsibilities include building relationships with patients and referrers while providing responsive, accurate diagnosis. Prioritise busy workloads to ensure timely results and excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging
  • Hold and maintain current registration with ASAR as well as completion of an ASAR accredited course
  • Hold and maintain annual liability insurance through the ASA or equivalent provider
  • Value driven attitude and work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging in breast, obstetrics, and gynaecology
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, and teammates
  • Deliver responsive, accurate and timely diagnosis with excellent customer service
  • Prioritise a busy workload and work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Work with clinic teams to identify and proactively deliver on the Health & Safety framework
  • Provide feedback to clinic and operational teams to identify training and development needs
  • Collaborate with National Ultrasound Leader, Site Chief and/or Regional Manager on growth initiatives
