Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Upon hire: IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant).
- 1 year of Lactation Nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-focused, whole-person lactation care built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.
- Apply specialized training to deliver world-class health with human connection.
- Support breastfeeding mothers and infants with evidence-based lactation consulting.
- Collaborate with the maternity care team to ensure comprehensive patient support.
- Educate families on breastfeeding techniques, milk supply, and infant feeding challenges.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with nursing standards.
