Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant)
- 1 year of Lactation Nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert lactation consultation and support to breastfeeding mothers and infants
- Assess lactation needs and develop individualized care plans for patients
- Educate patients and families on breastfeeding techniques and infant nutrition
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary maternity care team to ensure whole-person care
- Apply specialized training to provide world-class health with human connection
- Support the mission of improving the health and wellbeing of each patient served
