Consistently performs high quality obstetrical Ultrasound studies for high-risk maternity patients according to protocols established by Perinatologists/AIUM. Demonstrates ability to recognize and accurately document pathology identified in scans. Performs preliminary evaluation, obtains medical history, previous exams, and verifies physician orders.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of Ultrasound and Trophon equipment, responds to work schedule changes and locations. Uses Viewpoint and EPIC computer programs effectively while maintaining confidentiality. Prepares rooms for invasive procedures and assists as needed.

Requirements
- Experience preferred in OB all trimesters, GYN with transvaginal a plus
- Formal education in an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Program
- Clinical training/experience in OB and/or MFM
- ARDMS certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
- Knowledge of high-risk obstetrical ultrasound protocols
- Ability to perform transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds
- Familiarity with fetal anomaly detection and Doppler studies
Responsibilities
- Perform high quality obstetrical Ultrasound studies for high-risk maternity patients according to Perinatologists/AIUM protocols
- Recognize and accurately document pathology identified in scans
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Ultrasound and Trophon equipment
- Perform preliminary evaluation for each patient and obtain pertinent medical history prior to exam
- Obtain previous examinations and reports, review and verify physician’s orders
- Respond to changes in the work schedule and locations
- Demonstrate appropriate use of Viewpoint and hospital-based EPIC computer programs
- Prepare room for invasive procedures and assist during them as needed
