About this role

We are looking for a part-time Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife at our El Cajon Health Center. Bring your passion for reproductive healthcare to life by providing high-quality exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling.

You will serve as a go-to medical resource, supporting and empowering both licensed and non-licensed team members. This role follows a 3-day work schedule based on a two-week rotation with specific days assigned each week.

Collaborate with other healthcare providers, physicians, and management on patient care and clinical improvements. Partner with a Case Management team that communicates with patients on lab results, referrals, and other aspects of patient care.

Receive a rigorous training and on-boarding program similar to a fellowship. Pursue continuing education opportunities while working in a supportive and professional nursing environment that follows evidence-based protocols.

Requirements

  • Hold an active California license as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling in reproductive healthcare.
  • Support and empower licensed and non-licensed team members as a medical resource.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, physicians, and management on patient care and clinical improvements.
  • Partner with Case Management on lab results, referrals, and other patient care aspects.
  • Perform IUC retrievals, Nexplanon insertions, Cryotherapy, Bartholin Cyst I&D, and prescribe GAHT.
  • Follow evidence-based protocols and guidelines in a professional nursing environment.
