Certified Midwife

THMA Medical Group seeks a Certified Midwife to provide midwifery services in accordance with Pennsylvania rules governing the standard of practice. The role supports the OBGyn practice by delivering evaluation and management for OB care patients.

Daily work includes completing ACOG Prenatal Records, assigning risk factors, and evaluating labor progress. The midwife actively participates in clinical care, acts as first assist for cesarean sections, and performs circumcisions when indicated.

Collaboration occurs through the care team with clear EMR documentation and communication of patient condition changes. Infection control standards, pain management, and individualized educational plans based on age, cultural, and spiritual values are integrated into every encounter.
