Exciting opportunity for an experienced Sonographer to join the specialist team at Womens Imaging - Hobart on a Part-Time or Full-Time basis. Responsibilities include building strong relationships with patients, referrers and teammates while providing responsive, accurate and timely diagnosis. Prioritise a busy workload, working independently or in a team, and contribute to Health & Safety frameworks. Provide feedback to identify training needs and collaborate on clinic growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging
  • Hold and maintain current registration with ASAR and completion of an ASAR accredited course
  • Hold and maintain annual liability insurance through the ASA or equivalent provider
  • Value driven attitude and work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for a team-oriented environment
  • Experience specialising in Breast, Obstetrics and/or Gynaecology procedures

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, and teammates
  • Deliver responsive, accurate and timely diagnosis for optimal results with excellent customer service
  • Prioritise a busy workload and work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Work with clinic teams to identify and proactively deliver on the Health & Safety framework
  • Provide feedback to clinic and operational teams to identify training and development needs
  • Collaborate with National Ultrasound Leader, Site Chief and/or Regional Manager on growth initiatives
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging in Breast, Obstetrics and Gynaecology
