About this role
Direct Medics is a leading healthcare recruitment specialist recruiting Allied Health Professionals for locum roles throughout the UK. They are working in partnership with NHS Grampian for Band 7 Obstetric Sonographers to join the Ultrasound Department in Aberdeen Maternity Hospital. Starting ASAP until 25/08/25 with a shift pattern of Wednesday to Friday, 22 hours.

Requirements
- HCPC Registered Radiographer
- Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent
- Extensive experience in all aspects of Obstetric Ultrasound
- Right to live and work in the UK
- Proficiency in obstetric scanning techniques
- Ability to work in busy maternity ultrasound department
Responsibilities
- Perform obstetric ultrasound scans in maternity hospital setting
- Conduct detailed imaging of fetal development and maternal anatomy
- Assess all aspects of obstetric ultrasound including anomalies
- Interpret ultrasound results for clinical decision-making
- Work Wednesday to Friday shifts in Ultrasound Department
- Support maternity care through precise sonography
- Collaborate with NHS Grampian maternity team
