Exciting opportunity for an experienced Sonographer to join our specialist team at Womens Imaging - Hobart on either a Part-Time or Full-Time basis. This role suits those seeking a dynamic environment while specialising in Breast, Obstetrics and/or Gynaecology procedures. Sonographers deliver the high-quality imaging trusted by the community.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, and teammates. Provide responsive, accurate and timely diagnosis for optimal results alongside excellent customer service. Prioritise a busy workload while working effectively independently and within a team.

Clinics feature high performing teams with continuous learning and development opportunities. Supported by up-to-date equipment in a modern clinical setting. Collaborate with clinic teams on Health & Safety framework and provide feedback for training needs.

Requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging
  • Current registration with ASAR and completion of an ASAR accredited course
  • Annual liability insurance through the ASA or equivalent provider
  • Value driven attitude and work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team-oriented environment
  • Experience specialising in Breast, Obstetrics and/or Gynaecology procedures

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, and teammates
  • Deliver responsive, accurate and timely diagnosis for optimal delivery of results with excellent customer service
  • Prioritise a busy workload and work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Work with clinic teams to identify and proactively deliver on the Health & Safety framework
  • Provide feedback to clinic and operational teams to identify training and development needs
  • Collaborate with National Ultrasound Leader, Site Chief and/or Regional Manager on growth initiatives
  • Perform high-quality imaging in Breast, Obstetrics and/or Gynaecology procedures
