About this role

Foresight is an outpatient mental health company offering virtual and in-person therapy across California to improve access to high-quality care. We are hiring a Maternal Mental Health Therapist for our growing Maternal Mental Health Specialty Program. This role involves providing therapy using evidence-based perinatal and reproductive mental health approaches.

In this role, provide individual and group therapy to clients trying to conceive or in the perinatal period. Maintain a clinical caseload of 25-35 clients, handle documentation, screening, intake, and crisis management. Collaborate with psychiatry for coordinated care.

Participate in interdisciplinary MMH rounds for case discussions and treatment planning. Collaborate with leadership on program trends, barriers, and growth opportunities. Contribute to program development and continuous improvement efforts.

Develop and deliver internal education on perinatal mental health for clinicians. Create client-facing workshops or support groups and represent the program at events. Serve as an advocate for maternal mental health within and beyond the organization.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Current California licensure as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist
  • Minimum of two years post-license experience in behavioral health
  • Strong communication including proactive and responsive communication with clients and internal teams
  • Proficiency with essential technology platforms, such as EHR systems, Zoom, Google Suite, and Dayforce
  • Background or strong interest in perinatal mental health
  • PMH-C required at hire or within 3 months of next available course

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy to individuals trying to conceive or in the perinatal period using evidence-based approaches
  • Maintain a clinical caseload between 25-35 clients depending on program needs
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
  • Support screening, intake, and assessment to ensure appropriate fit and timely access to care
  • Collaborate with psychiatry and other disciplines to ensure coordinated care
  • Provide crisis management and stabilization as needed
  • Participate in interdisciplinary MMH program rounds, contributing to case discussions and treatment planning
  • Develop and deliver internal education on perinatal and reproductive mental health
