About this role

Ohel’s Early Childhood Mental Health Program is seeking a warm, empathic LCSW, LMHC or LCAT to provide mental health services to pregnant and postpartum women. Clinician will provide services at Ohel’s Early Childhood Treatment Center. Therapy focuses on women diagnosed with a perinatal or postpartum mental health disorder.

Clinician will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing clients in addition to providing mental health treatment. Candidate must be comfortable working individually, dyadically with mother and baby, and within family system including with partners and family members. Services address perinatal mental health needs directly.

Appropriate candidate must have knowledge of maternal mental health and attachment theories. Supervision is provided weekly which guides staff to develop competencies and new skills. The role supports comprehensive care in a specialized early childhood environment.

Requirements

  • Licensed as LCSW, LMHC or LCAT
  • Warm, empathic approach
  • Knowledge of maternal mental health
  • Knowledge of attachment theories
  • Comfortable working individually, dyadically with mother and baby, and within family systems
  • Two years experience in a field related to providing direct treatment
